Washington DC or Bust

An early fall trip to DC was a blast for Cindy, Carly and Jim.  The purpose was to help celebrate Cindy’s BFF’s 50th Birthday, Lisa.  A great surprise party Lisa’s mom had planned. The weekend was full of great reunions for Carly as she got to see old preschool friends Lilly and her sister Natalie, along with Lisa’s daughter Grace.           Luckily the Government Shutdown ended two days before the trip so Carly, Cindy and Jim got to take in some sites, but not as many as they squeezed in as many friends and fun as possible. Tower of Terror Ten Miler

This was a first for both Cindy and Jim: Disney’s Tower of Terror Ten Miler at 10 pm at night.  What an incredible race past villains in the back streets of Disney.  The hardest part was not being able to eat and drink anything they wanted while at the Food and Wine festival! Teenager Carly

Carly is a Happy 13 year old.  She and her best friend got their ears pierced together….they can’t wait to wear big dangle earrings!  In middle school, friends give the birthday girl big balloons at school for their birthday.  Carly got 14! Her birthday party was a big mystery whodunit that Jim and Cindy planned for weeks–full of hidden spooky sounds, riddles and a tough mystery the teen girls had to solve before crashing for their slumber party! Cindy: 49 Is The New 29!

Back To School

August 19, 2013- Carly, Chloe and Caroline headed back to school after an action packed summer! After an appeal to the School Board, Carly was able to stay at her same middle school.  Due the two mile move last November, the school boundaries were different putting Carly in another middle school.  Luckily, the school board agreed allowing Carly to spend the last two years at her current Tequesta Trace Middle School.  Carly, 7th grade, loves Advanced Drama and Language Arts.  She’s being challenged in Spanish I (Thank God for Jim, who’s bilingual!) and is learning new topics in Civics, Math and Science. Chloe started a new school after four years in her public elementary school.  Abi’s Place is a special needs private school with low ratios providing focus on behaviors and life skills.  The school...

Beantown Gang!
